The CMPND Membership Terms & Conditions

By completing a membership purchase with The CMPND, LLC (“CMPND”), you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are in place to support a safe, functional, and collaborative creative community.

1. Membership Overview

The CMPND memberships provide access to shared workspace, creative studios, community events, and resources based on the selected membership tier.

Current membership options include:

Community Membership: $69/month + processing fees

Creator Membership: $149/month + processing fees

Team Membership: $249/month + processing fees

Membership benefits, included hours, and access levels are outlined on our website and may be updated periodically.

2. Billing & Payments

Memberships are billed on a recurring monthly basis unless otherwise specified (e.g., annual memberships).

All payments are processed automatically via the payment method on file.

Prices are subject to applicable processing fees and taxes.

Failure to maintain an active payment method may result in temporary suspension of access until resolved.

3. Cancellation & Changes

Memberships require 30 days’ written notice to cancel.

Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to [email protected].

No partial refunds are issued for unused time or mid-cycle cancellations.

The CMPND reserves the right to update pricing or membership structures with advance notice.

4. Studio Access & Booking

Studio access is subject to availability and must be booked through The CMPND’s official scheduling system.

Studio hours included with membership do not roll over month to month unless explicitly stated.

Additional studio time may be purchased separately.

The CMPND reserves the right to limit or revoke access if booking policies are repeatedly ignored.

5. Equipment Use & Responsibility

Members are expected to use all equipment, studios, and shared spaces responsibly.

Members may be held financially responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged equipment caused by misuse or negligence.

Some rentals or add-ons may require a credit card on file for incidentals or damage coverage.

The CMPND is not responsible for personal belongings left on site.

6. Community Standards

The CMPND is a shared creative environment built on respect, collaboration, and trust.

Members agree to:

Treat staff, members, guests, and the space with respect

Follow posted rules, safety guidelines, and staff instructions

Use the space for lawful purposes only

The CMPND reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for behavior that threatens the safety, integrity, or mission of the community.

7. Events & Programming

Some events are included with membership; others may require separate registration or tickets.

Event details, capacity limits, and cancellation policies vary by program.

The CMPND may document events through photo, video, or audio for promotional purposes unless otherwise requested.

8. Assumption of Risk & Liability

Members use The CMPND facilities and participate in activities at their own risk.

The CMPND is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage except where required by law.

Members agree to release and hold harmless The CMPND, LLC, its staff, partners, and affiliates from claims arising from use of the space.

9. Changes to Terms

The CMPND may update these Terms & Conditions as needed. Continued use of membership services constitutes acceptance of updated terms. Significant changes will be communicated to members in advance.
